great hotel, lovely rooms and excellent service

hotel albe in paris was lovely. my french is appauling, though i tried hard. the staff were most helpfull and comunicated in english to help me out. this was very good of them as i was a guest in their country. breakfast was delicious and even though the young lady running the kitchen spoke no english at all, she was bright and pleasant and we got by with hand signals and had no trouble getting what we wanted for breakfast. although small, the rooms were very clean, with moddern decor and bathrooms which was great. i would definately stay there again and highly recomend hotel albe. the location was also great, close to restaurants and cafe, also to shops. notre dame, and to st michelle metro station, so very easy to get anywhere.. the staff organised a taxi for us to get to the station when we left which was extremely helpful as it would have been difficult for us to do this without speaking french well. we also felt that by pareis standards the price was reasonable for such a high standard of accomodation with exceptional service. thank you for having us, we had a wonderful time. regards, libby beith. australia.
